“K” and her son live in Santorini, Greece. She is a former sex worker, who’s a single mother. She left an abusive relationship only to become indebted to a hotel where she unfortunately began turning tricks to provide a living for her child. A number of people in a local house church befriended this woman and invited her to a home fellowship. After an evening of simple company, snacks, laughs, and Bible study this woman confessed she had been prostituting herself to feed her son.

They have been gaining ground in the Kingdom of God one day at the time, one counseling session at a time, one park outing with the neighborhood children at a time, and one home fellowship gathering at a time.

She’s looking forward to regaining her dignity and rejoining the work force with legitimate employment in the next few months. But she still has need with regard to counseling sessions for her and her son, weekly food costs, bus transfers, medical bills, and gas/electric bills as her temporary free housing doesn’t provide coverage for energy consumption.
